Description:

The only one that can give salvation is God. There is only one Saviour. He is the only one capable of saving a world from sin. No other god gives salvation. God became a man in Jesus Christ to save. Jesus Christ must be God in order to be our Saviour, else the giver/provider of salvation is not God. Paul speaks more about the need for Christ than any other writer, and this is because our preaching is not of right division or of the mystery but of Christ. According to our gospel, Christ is essential (2 Cor 5:21; Rom 3; Col 1-2). Right division makes who is the Saviour very clear. The Body is identified by the Head.
